Currently in Beirut on an artist's residency and featuring in the present group show in IMMA 'In the Line of Beauty' we are delighted to have her as our final artist to culminate five years of posters.

"I wanted to do something photographic and my initial idea was to shape the word 'Flea' out of typical flea market fare and shoot. The Fleas loved the idea but after giving it more thought, I realised that for what I had in mind, I'd need an aircraft hanger and a truck! I shelved it until Sharon asked me to consider it for a MUCH more manageable 5th anniversary poster. A lava lamp or two, a shiny red bike, dusty old books, two vintage movie projectors, and an antique dinner gong were some of the items carted into South Studios – thanks Sean, Yvette and Kate for giving me the ground floor Shutter Room!"

Christmas Market Applications Closed

The Christmas Cracker Market Applications are now closed and all stalls have been allocated.

We're really excited about the stalls this year and very much looking forward to doing all our shopping with independent, creative Irish traders.

That time again.....well almost....I mean its not quite christmas yet.....but some of us have to start thinking about it.

The Dublin Flea and Block T Christmas Market is back for its third year in Smithfield on Dec 13th, 14th & 15th  with over 100 stalls and we are currently taking applications. As always we are looking for the best that Dublin's independent trading scene has to offer in the way of second hand goods, furniture, clothes, music, bric-a-brac, crafty odds and ends and all things creative for christmas.

Applications will remain open until October 28th and we will let you all know as soon as possible after that whether you have been allocated a spot or not.

Incomiiiiiiiiing....August poster by our very own  part-time vinyl spinner extraordinaire - Will Walshe. Catch him at the poster stall most months, when he's not flogging records.
